This is one of my favorite quotes. I came across it a few years ago, and it just struck something, and I haven’t forgotten it since. I thought about this quote the entire time I was working on this gorgeous quilt for Mrs. Sherry! To all those who have served, are serving, or will serve - THANK YOU! To military spouses, children, and families - THANK YOU!

This quilt pattern is Three Tours by Tony Jacobson at Piece Works Quilt Shop! We chose a fun star pantograph called Star Streamers to bring in a bit more flare!! Truthfully, I wish Mrs. Sherry wasn’t coming to get this beaut this morning! I don’t want to give it back!! It’s just so beautiful!
