MAV "The Jack William" Tool Set

One of our personal favorite kits over here at MAV is The Jack William. A bold construction of three very sturdy woods from opposite sides of the globe!

For the handle, we begin our journey on the tropical shores of Hawaii where the Koa wood is sustainably harvested and selected for its instrument-grade figure. We then come back to the U.S. mainland to find our Curly Maple for the blades. And finally, we board a plane to Africa where the jungles of the equator transition to desert to find our African Blackwood. 

Some kits may have central bands of Purpleheart from South America!

Each piece is hand crafted, hand sanded up to a fine finish, and coated with a blend of beeswax and orange oil to bring out the NATURAL beauty of the wood.
